Despite the volatility in the housing market, we say many sales records in Q4 in Boston.

Luxury condo sales saw a record average sales price ($2,275,000, a 2% increase),  and record median price per square foot ($1,634 up 1%).

Downtown saw a record median price per square foot ($1,351, a 3% increase).

The North End saw a record average sales price ($1,035,176, a 10% increase), record median sales price ($896,000, a 5% increase), and record median price per square foot ($1,004, a 1% increase).

The Seaport saw a record average sales price ($3,204,250, a 16% increase), record average price per square foot ($2,055, a 25% increase), and record median price per square foot ($2,050, a 25% increase).

The South End saw a record average selling price ($1,406,537, a 1% increase).

The West End saw a record average sales price ($825,000, a 3% increase).

Even in the midst of a housing recession, Boston values are holding strong or growing.
